Aeschliman on Eliot and Dante

A great read, originally a lecture Michael D. Aeschliman gave at the University of Virginia in 1987.  This I found when I was actually looking for his wonderful "A Cold, Gray Glow:  Television Comes to the Tuscan Hills."  You can access it here at Harper's Magazine if you are willing to pay a subscription fee . . . Now that, too, is a wonderful article.
