Music Stations

10.9.09 Alright:  Pandora is not what I'd have it be.  It has nasty advertisements for birth control, lingerie, and cheap television shows.  What is it?  Free Internet Radio with a theme.  Should I boycott it?  Or listen in?

I have since decided to forgo Pandora.  I can't ignore the ads for birth control.  Or the songs, like Woody Guthrie's "The Pill," that rant about having too many children.  I enjoyed Pandora, but couldn't listen to it with integrity.  Or recommend it on this blog.  And doing without it--a tiny sacrifice.  I guess we can all do something.

More later on how to find good music for the kids--all those kids!  What a miracle to be needed by a child!
