About Me

Gwen Adams earned a research PhD degree at the Maryvale Institute in Birmingham, UK, an MA in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas, MN, and a BA in History from Christendom College, Front Royal, VA. She has served as a youth minister and taught on the middle-school, high-school, undergraduate, and graduate levels, most recently at Summer Intensive courses at the Augustine Institute, in Denver, CO. She writes for Vianney Vocations and lives in the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, where she helps coordinate Crux, a camp sponsored by the Office for Vocations. She likes to write and produce plays with young people and to speak and write on prayer, vocations, education, parishes, and community.

She gives talks for retreats, conferences, parish and diocesan events, leads teacher and religious educator workshops, teaches courses, conducts research, and coordinates leadership training with youth and young adults.
