Best Shorts Countdown (Talking) #1: A Windy Day

And the Number One best all-time animated talking short is A Windy Day by John and Faith Hubley.  This was nominated for an Academy Award in 1968.  Animation by Barrie Nelson.  Read more here.  The great short not only has fine animation, but more cleverly, animates the conversation of Hubley's two little girls Georgia and Emily.  This film is so realistic, so true to life, yet so fantastic and magical at the same time.  Truly a wonderful idea, and executed well.  About Eight minutes (or more like nine minutes, twenty-two seconds.)
