External Sensory Education:
Provide frequent, even constant contact with nature: “what is important is engagement with reality, not simply the discerning of reality” (Taylor, Poetic Education).  Like Belloc we “look once again at reality, at being, at Creation” (Wilhelmsen, Hilaire Belloc).

For example, for the young, science should involve very little applied math and take place mainly out of doors.
